It's summer season again. School's out and people are looking forward to basking in the sun's glory with friends and family. For enterprises and developers, IBM Application Discovery and Delivery Intelligence (IBM ADDI) is here to help boost productivity with application insights. New features and capabilities available in IBM ADDI V6.0.1 are listed below:

• Db2 for LUW (Linux/Unix/Windows) support. For more information, see Db2 for LUW (Linux, UNIX, and Windows) prerequisites.
• Adding Git support. Admins can now quickly synchronize source files between Git and IBM ADDI in an automated way.
• Security improvements:
• Through the graphical user interface of IBM AD Build, accessing the mainframe can now be secured with the username and password. For more information, see the following topics:

• Enabling the z/OS User Authentication feature for IBM AD Build Configuration
• Enabling the z/OS User Authentication feature for IBM AD Connect for Mainframe
• When the HTTPS or TLS protocol is enabled for communication, keystore passwords are now encrypted. For more information, see Obtaining an encrypted keystore password.
• Some other improvements are also made to comply with the increasing security standards of IBM.
• IBM AD Audit service improvements. You can now modify the logging level and modify the wait time for receiving component status.
• New annotation and call chain analysis REST API endpoints: the get endpoint and the includes endpoints.
• Enhanced Assembler Macro support, with which you can now analyze more complex Assembler application.
• Enhanced Natural support, with which you can now analyze more complex Natural application. 
• Included Wazi Analyze 1.3 with many new features and enhancements: 
• Added support for impact analysis on PL/I and Assembler languages. You can now quickly analyze the impact of their COBOL, PL/I, and Assembler code changes through a web UI. For more information, see Preparing the source files to be scanned.
• Added support for authentication to secure the information that is stored in the container.
• Enhanced export function. Now you can export the graph and table into PDF format. For more information, see Exporting impact analysis results.
• Made various UX/UI improvements, including but not limited to the following updates:
• Simplified the steps for project creation.
• Added a history view to show the previous graph that you were looking at.
• Improved UI for project selection.
• Added support for Wazi Analyze APIs. You now have the flexibility to run Wazi Analyze either locally on your machine or remotely on a server. For more information, see Using Wazi Analyze APIs.
